Vijayawada-based photojournalist T. Srinivasa Reddy, popularly known as T.S. Reddy, has been selected for the Master of Photojournalism Award by the India International Photographic Council (IIPC), an associate partner of the Photographic Society of America (PSA).

The international honours were announced on Wednesday (August 19), on the occasion of the 187th World Photography Day.

Mr. Reddy is among four photographers from India selected for the honours. Sanjay Kumar of Sangeet Natak Academy, New Delhi, and photojournalist T. Narayana have also been selected, while noted photographer Raghu Rai has been nominated for a posthumous Lifetime Achievement Award. The awards will be presented in New Delhi on December 24.
