Vietnam to Colombo flight makes emergency landing at Chennai airport

CHENNAI: A VietJet Airlines flight from Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam to Colombo in Sri Lanka with 143 passengers on board made an emergency landing at Chennai airport on Tuesday night after an engine of the A320 aircraft failed.Airport officials said after the crew reported an engine problem, the aircraft was diverted to Chennai.
