NEW DELHI: Chennai witnessed a unique Ganesh Chaturthi celebration as Vijay-themed Vinayagar (Ganesha) idols were installed in RK Nagar, with the statues drawing inspiration from the Tamil Nadu chief minister’s popular film Ghilli.Visuals from the area showed idols modelled on characters and scenes associated with the 2004 Tamil film, in which Vijay played Saravanavelu and Trisha Krishnan portrayed Dhanalakshmi.
