Minister for Agriculture T. Siddique on Sunday (September 20) visited the residence of shooter Vidarsha K. Vinod at Thambalamanna in Thiruvambady here and congratulated her on winning a silver medal at the Asian Games.
The Minister interacted with Ms. Vidarsha over a video call and conveyed his greetings on her achievement. He said her performance had brought immense pride and happiness to the State and assured her of the government’s support in all her future endeavours, including assistance relating to employment.
The Minister said Ms. Vidarsha became the first Keralite woman shooter to win a silver medal at the Asian Games. He described the achievement as a proud moment for Keralam.
