Veteran photojournalist K.P. Thirumeni has passed away at the age of 79 following a fall at his residence. He was a respected figure in the Kerala media community and a founding member of the Senior Journalists Forum.

Veteran photojournalist K .P. Thirumeni, 79, passed away here on Wednesday. He had been undergoing treatment after a fall at his residence in Chottanikkara last month.
He had served as an executive committee member of the Kerala Union of Working Journalists in Kochi. He was one of the founding members of the Senior Journalists Forum.
Thirumeni is survived by wife M.K. Kusumakumari and children Anu and Minu.
