Veteran Malayalam cinematographer T.N. Krishnankutty has passed away at the age of 96 in Alappuzha, Kerala. He was a prolific figure in the film industry, having worked on over 70 movies throughout his career.

Veteran cinematographer T N Krishnankutty, who worked in more than 70 films during his long career in Malayalam cinema, died in Alappuzha, Keralam, on Monday, industry sources said. He was 96.
Krishnankutty began his career in 1960 by operating the camera for Umma , produced by Udaya and directed by Kunchacko.
He later worked as cinematographer for more than 70 films, including Ladies Hostel , the first film directed by veteran filmmaker Hariharan.
Krishnankutty worked with several well-known directors, including Thikkurissi Sukumaran Nair, M M Nesan, P J Antony, Sasikumar, A B Raj, Venu, K P Pillai and K Narayanan.
