Vertiv plans Donegal expansion creating up to 300 jobs

Digital infrastructure firm Vertiv has plans to expand its Donegal operation and create up to 300 new jobs.
The Ohio-based company, which develops power, cooling and IT infrastructure for data centres and other commercial settings, operates in more than 130 countries.
Vertiv has announced plans to submit an application to Donegal County Council to develop a further 7,000 sq m production facility at its current base in Letterkenny, Co. Donegal.
The new space will add to the company’s existing operations in Burnfoot, Co. Donegal, Campsie in Derry, its central procurement office in Limerick and a sales and service office in Dublin. The company now employs close to 2,500 people in Ireland.
Vertiv’s president for the Europe, Middle East and Africa regions, Paul Ryan, said the expansion reflects the strategic importance of Ireland to the firm’s global business.
