VB-G RAM G will strengthen rural India, benefit workers, say officers
A Ministry of Rural Development team visited Belagavi, India, to review the implementation of the 'Viksit Bharat-Guarantee for Rozgar and Aajeevika Mission' (VB-G RAM G). The program aims to provide employment guarantees and foster all-round development in rural areas.

A team of officers from the Union Ministry of Rural Development recently visited some villages in Belagavi district to see the working of Viksit Bharat-Guarantee for Rozgar and Aajeevika Mission (Gramin) (VB-G RAM G).
A team of officers, led by Deputy Director-General, Ministry of Rural Development Altaf Hussain Haji, visited villages in Belagavi and Hukkeri.
They interacted with workers and officers. They also joined Rozgar Day celebrations in Hanchinal village.
The team that included Undersecretary K.C. Anil Kumar and Assistant Director Baldevakumar Verma held a meeting with the district-level officers and staff of the project and collected information about the implementation of the scheme.
The Ministry of Rural Development team also visited the Akka Cafe started under the National Rural Livelihood Mission and the Jal Shakti centre at the Belagavi Zilla Panchayat office.
