NEW DELHI: India spinner Varun Chakaravarthy has been ruled out of the three match T20I series against Afghanistan on Monday. The spinner picked up an injury after the first contest at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Sunday, which India won by 7 wickets. The cause of the injury remains unclear."Yes, Varun has been ruled out. He is out of the series. It is a fresh injury," a BCCI source told TimesofIndia.com.The injury comes as a blow for Chakaravarthy and India. He had recently recovered from a hamstring injury that had kept him out of white ball matches in England in July.
