UWA opens Mumbai Campus; MBA course to commence from November
The University of Western Australia has opened a new campus in Mumbai, offering various graduate and undergraduate programs including an MBA starting in November. The initiative is part of an AUD 80 million investment to strengthen educational and research ties between India and Australia.

The University of Western Australia (UWA) recently opened a campus in Andheri East. The campus will start admitting students from September. It will offer programs for graduates and undergraduates in business, technology and STEM subjects.
An MBA programme is set to start in November 2026. The MBA will run for 12 months, and cover strategy, finance, marketing, entrepreneurship, decision-making with data and management across countries. UWA will also open a campus in Chennai in October 2026. UWA has committed about AUD 80 million to set up and run campuses in India. The step connects education, industry, research and talent between India and Western Australia, UWA said.
