Lucknow, July 15: Uttar Pradesh is set to host one of its largest Japanese business delegations next month, as more than 200 CEOs from Japan and Yamanashi Prefecture are expected to visit the state from August 19 for a five-day programme aimed at exploring investment opportunities and strengthening bilateral cooperation across key sectors.
In preparation for the visit, a 12-member high-level delegation from Yamanashi Prefecture, led by Shri Narendra Upadhyay, Advisor to the Prefectural Government, visited the Invest UP office in Lucknow to finalise the itinerary and engagement plan. The visit marks an important follow-up to Hon’ble Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s recent visit to Japan and is expected to translate strategic discussions into concrete investments and long-term partnerships.
The meeting was chaired by Infrastructure and Industrial Development Commissioner (IIDC) Shri Deepak Kumar. Invest UP CEO Shri Vijay Kiran Anand and Additional CEO Shri Shashank Chaudhary were also present.
