Uttar Pradesh stepped up its global investment outreach by showcasing its semiconductor, electronics, and advanced technology ecosystem to leading Taiwanese firms at SEMICON 2026 in Taipei (Sept 2–4). The state sought strategic partnerships and investments across chip manufacturing, sensors, data centres, and supply-chain development.

The state showcased its investment-ready infrastructure, policy incentives, skilled talent and expanding electronics ecosystem, positioning Uttar Pradesh as a potential destination for global companies looking to establish and scale their India operations.

Led by Shri Alok Kumar, Principal Secretary, Electronics & IT, the Uttar Pradesh team included Ms. Prerna Sharma, Additional CEO, Invest UP, and Shri Manish Meena, Additional CEO, YEIDA. They participated in the India-Taiwan Semiconductor Forum, engaging with industry leaders and government representatives to explore deeper technology and investment cooperation.
