US tightens visa rules on ‘birth tourism’: What Indian travellers need to know

The United States has announced a new visa restriction policy targeting people and businesses involved in what it calls commercial “birth tourism” networks.US Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced the policy on September 23, saying it will be used against people who knowingly engage in, have engaged in, or facilitate birth tourism to the US.
