Paula Badosa was left absolutely furious when her first-round match against Australia's Daria Kasatkina was postponed for the night at the US Open just two points away from victory. The US Open was hit by rain for the third-straight day, causing chaos on the outside courts that don't have roofs.
Alex de Minaur 's match against Italian qualifier Andrea Guerrieri didn't even start and was rescheduled to Thursday morning (Australian time). Kasatkina was trailing Badosa 1-6 4-5 when play was called off for the night after a number of earlier stoppages.
