Held under the theme "Let Freedom Ring," the reception was attended by Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan, government officials, elected representatives, business community members, educators, journalists, civic figures and diplomats.
The event began with the national anthems of Pakistan and the United States and ended with a jazz performance highlighting American music and culture.
