UP RERA clears 12 projects worth Rs 1,664 crore across six districts

For homebuyers in Uttar Pradesh, a new set of housing and commercial projects is set to expand the state's real estate pipeline, with developments ranging from residential projects in Ghaziabad and Hapur to a large mixed-use project in Lucknow.The Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP RERA) has approved 12 new real estate projects across six districts, involving an estimated investment of Rs 1,663.85 crore, according to an official statement.The projects, cleared at UP RERA's 214th authority meeting chaired by its chairman Sanjay Bhoosreddy on Tuesday, will together comprise 3,090 residential and commercial units.Lucknow leads investment and unit countLucknow accounts for the largest share of the approvals, with four projects involving an estimated investment of Rs 609.35 crore and 1,972 units.The four projects include two residential developments, one commercial project and one mixed-use development, UP RERA said.Ghaziabad follows with three residential projects involving Rs 605.06 crore.
