MEERUT: A 30-year-old man was arrested for killing his second wife 18 months after she gave birth to a son, police said on Sunday. He married her after having five daughters with his first wife, hoping for a boy.Meerut rural SP Abhijeet Kumar said an unidentified woman’s body was found in the Sardhana police station area on Thursday. After examining footage from around 25 CCTV cameras, police identified her as Sheeba and arrested her husband, Mohd Sadiq.“Sadiq told investigators that he had killed Sheeba with the help of his two brothers, Mohd Aabid and Mohd Shadab, his first wife Aasiya and mother Wasila,” Kumar said. Sheeba had a daughter from her first marriage.
