UoH professor secures INSA Fellowship
University of Hyderabad professor Rajadurai Chandrasekar has been elected as a Fellow of the Indian National Science Academy for his contributions to nanoscience. His current research focuses on developing AI-driven soft materials for programmable optical communication.

Professor in the School of Chemistry, University of Hyderabad (UoH), Rajadurai Chandrasekar has been elected a Fellow of the Indian National Science Academy (INSA), effective January 2027, a university release stated on Thursday.
The Fellowship recognises scientists who have made exceptional and transformative contributions to research and technological advancement. Mr. Chandrasekar is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry and has been recognised among the world’s top 2% of scientists in Nanoscience and Technology in the Stanford global ranking.
