Cosmetic products manufactured in Pakistan and allegedly imported into India without the required authorisation, worth about ₹7 lakh, were seized during searches at shops in Hyderabad, Telangana.

The Commissioner’s Task Force, Rajendranagar Zone, along with officials of the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO), inspected Beauty Ladies Emporium, Beauty Queen Shop and S.J. Medical Shop in Habeeb Nagar and Nampally on Wednesday (September 30, 2026).

The CDSCO officials identified the products as among the unauthorised or banned cosmetics mentioned in a public notice issued on September 8. The Police said the products did not have the registration certificate required for their import into India.

The seized products included skin-whitening creams and soaps manufactured in Pakistan. Among the brands identified were Goree, Chandni, Faiz, Navia, Golden Pearl, Sadaf, Face Fresh, Stillmans and Noor Gold.
