UN chief calls for cessation of hostilities in northern Ethiopia

UN Secretary-General António Guterres has called for an immediate cessation of hostilities in northern Ethiopia following renewed fighting in the Tigray, Afar, and Amhara regions. He urged all parties to return to the Pretoria Agreement and reminded regional states of their obligations under the UN Charter.
