British TV presenter Kirstie Allsopp was rescued by a Coastguard team after suffering a serious leg injury during a fall on a beach in Devon. The rescue occurred on the final day of service for one of the Coastguard officers involved.

A Coastguard member on her last day on the job helped rescue British TV presenter Kirstie Allsopp, who fell and seriously injured her leg during a beach walk on a family holiday.
The Bude Coastguard Rescue Team shared a photo of the group that rescued Allsopp after her fall near Welcombe Beach on Monday.
The photo, on the beach at sunset, was taken “to mark the final ‘shout’ for Coastguard Rescue Officer Bude 04, Lotte, on her last day of service for HM Coastguard”.
“We thank her for her dedication to the team, and her selfless commitment to saving lives and assisting those in need on our coast. She will be (and already is) sorely missed,” the team added in the Instagram post.
