UiTM student dies, 8 hospitalised after endurance challenge

PETALING JAYA: A Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) student has died, while eight others were hospitalised after suffering heat-related symptoms while taking part in an endurance challenge at the UiTM Jengka campus in Maran, Pahang, on Thursday.
Fadhlan Fakhry Solana Fellimal, 21, died at Hospital Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah in Temerloh yesterday afternoon, Berita Harian reported.
The Malay daily reported Maran police chief Wong Kim Wai as confirming that Fadhlan and another student received treatment at Hospital Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah, while seven others were treated at Jengka Hospital.
