UGC approves five new courses at BRAOU
Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University has received UGC approval to launch five new academic programs, including M.A. Education and Master of Social Work. The university plans to collaborate with the School Education Department to provide professional training for teachers.

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU) has received approval from the University Grants Commission (UGC) to introduce five programmes from the current academic year.
The newly-approved programmes are M.A. Education, M.A. Education (School Administration), Master of Social Work (MSW), M.Sc. Geography and the renewed B.Ed. (Special Education) programme.
The approval followed a virtual inspection by a UGC expert committee in June which examined the university’s academic preparedness, infrastructure, learner support systems, digital resources and regulatory compliance.
