Udupi police arrest two more persons in connection with murder of ex-panchayat president

The Udupi police have arrested two more persons, including one who is suspected of having given the ‘supari’, in connection with the murder of the former president of the Mudarangadi Gram Panchayat, David D’Souza.
With this, the police have so far arrested a total of seven persons in connection with the case.
The police gave the names of the arrested persons as Sadananda Devadiga, 41, of Bada Yermal village, Kaup taluk, Udupi district, and Kishore Ram Poojary, 47, of Bada Uchhila village, Kaup taluk. The police seized two mobile phones, a motorcycle, and some cash from Devadiga, while three mobile phones and a car were seized from Kishore.
