According to the final results, the UDC candidate secured 335 votes out of 892 valid ballots cast, representing 37.6% of the vote. The Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) garnered 299 votes, equivalent to 33.5%, whilst independent candidates collectively failed to surpass the 70-vote mark. The Botswana Congress Party (BCP) received 163 votes, representing 18.3%; its support declined by 120 votes. A total of 897 ballots were cast during the election, with five rejected.
