UDA revises dates for ward-level grassroots elections in 13 counties

The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) has revised dates for its ward-level grassroots elections in 13 counties, with the affected party members set to participate in the polls in October.

The party's National Elections Board (NEB), in a notice dated September 24, 2026, said it had reviewed the electoral programme and adjusted the schedule earlier communicated on September 12.

"Following due consideration and deliberations on the electoral programme, the National Elections Board has reviewed and revised the schedule for the Ward-Level Grassroots Elections communicated vide Ref No: UDA/3/NEB/GWL/26," the notice reads.

The revised dates supersede the previous schedule for the affected counties, with the elections now set to take place on October 2, 3, 16 and 17.

Kisii and Nandi counties will conduct their ward-level grassroots elections on Friday, October 2, according to the revised programme.
