According to Alawuba, African projects require thorough preparation, substantial capital and commercial sustainability. He noted that reliable revenue sources, credible institutions and accountable project implementation are important for attracting sustainable capital.
The UBA chief said that the bank helps connect African businesses with capital, expertise and financial infrastructure. As examples, he cited projects in telecommunications, energy, road construction and digital services.
