All is set for the fifth edition of the United Arab Emirates (UAE)-Uganda Business Forum, with organisers seeking to turn growing bilateral trade and investment ties into concrete business deals.

The four-day forum will run from October 26 to 29, across Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah and Fujairah, bringing together senior government officials, business leaders, investors, financial institutions, chambers of commerce and other stakeholders from Uganda and the UAE.

The forum is intended to showcase Uganda’s investment and export potential while connecting Ugandan enterprises with UAE-based investors, buyers and strategic partners.

While speaking at the Uganda Media Centre yesterday, Mr Kibedi Zaake, the Head of Mission for the Embassy of Uganda in the UAE, said the forum comes at a time when the UAE has become an increasingly important economic partner for Uganda, particularly in trade, investment, tourism, infrastructure, logistics, agriculture and energy.
