Why it matters
This tournament is a significant event for international cricket fans and provides crucial ODI experience for the participating nations.
The UAE Tri-Nations ODI Series 2026 will see Afghanistan host Bangladesh and Zimbabwe in the Emirates, with the tournament running until the final on October 23.
Each of the three teams will meet the other two once in the league phase, which means every side gets two matches before the table is settled. The top two teams on the points table will then move into the final.
Zimbabwe start the tournament against Bangladesh on October 17, and they then face Afghanistan two days later on October 19. The last league fixture, between Afghanistan and Bangladesh, is scheduled for October 21, which could well decide who joins the leaders in the final.
