U2 release Pogues cover for Shane MacGowan tribute album
U2 has released a cover of The Pogues' song 'Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah' as part of an upcoming tribute album for the late Shane MacGowan. The album, titled '20th Century Paddy', features various high-profile artists.

Available from 13 November, the album takes its title from a project the late MacGowan himself had long envisioned and also features covers of his songs by the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Hozier, Tom Waits, The Libertines, and Glen Hansard.
Originally released in 1990, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah appeared on The Pogues' album Hell’s Ditch , which was the last of the band’s albums to feature MacGowan.
