U.S. Ambassador Sergio Gor hosted a business roundtable in Hyderabad to strengthen bilateral trade and industrial ties between the U.S. and India. The event focused on expanding cooperation in defense, semiconductors, and life sciences to reach a $500 billion trade goal by 2030.

U.S. Ambassador to India Sergio Gor and U.S. Consul General Laura Williams convened top Indian industry leaders and Telangana Minister D. Sridhar Babu at the Taj Falaknuma Palace to accelerate bilateral trade, secure high-tech supply chains and expand U.S.-India commercial ties.
The dinner, commemorating the 250th anniversary of U.S. independence, brought together C-suite executives across defense manufacturing, semiconductors, pharmaceuticals and technology to convert strategic bilateral policy into real-world business investments across South India.

Highlighting the unprecedented momentum in the bilateral economic relationship, the U.S. Ambassador said the U.S.-India partnership has moved beyond mere strategic alignment. “Today, it is a concrete architecture of cooperation spanning defense, technology, life sciences, and space.”
