U.P. native held with cannabis-infused toffees near Coimbatore
Police in Coimbatore arrested a man from Uttar Pradesh for possessing and selling over 10 kilograms of cannabis-infused toffees. The suspect, a street vendor, was apprehended following a tip-off and charged under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.

The police on Sunday arrested a man from Uttar Pradesh on charge of selling cannabis-infused toffees.
Ravindra Kushwaha (35), a native of Ghazipur district in Uttar Pradesh, was arrested with 10.8 kg of the contraband.
According to the police, Kushwaha, a platform vendor selling mobile phone cases and accessories, was residing at Singanallur in Coimbatore.
The Madukkarai police received specific information on the sale of contraband substances by the accused at Machegoundanpalayam. A police team went to the spot and checked his bags and found him carrying a little over 10 kg of cannabis-infused toffees.
