Police have launched a manhunt after a horrific axe attack has left three people with life-threatening and critical injuries in Gippsland, Victoria. It is believed the attacker attended an address on Cowies Road in Tyers, east of Melbourne, at about 12.30pm on Saturday afternoon. Victoria Police say the man, who is in his 50s, used an axe to assault an elderly man and woman, as well as another man. The attacker then fled the scene, according to police, when the victims called emergency services to the property.
