Two daily-wage workers were killed after a speeding tipper truck rammed into their motorcycle at Kurmannapalem in Visakhapatnam on Sunday (September 13, 2026). The deceased, aged around 30 years, were residents of Duvvada and worked as construction workers for a company near the Steel Plant area. According to the police, a tipper travelling from Anakapalle towards Gajuwaka at high speed hit their motorcycle near Kurmannapalem, killing both workers on the spot. The bodies were shifted for post-mortem examination, and a case has been registered.
