Two women killed in suspected family double murder in Luuka

Two women have been killed in a suspected double murder at Bugobi Village in Nawanyago Parish, Irongo Sub-county, Luuka District, with police arresting a 21-year-old man who is a close family member of the victims.
The deceased have been identified as Betty Tulina, 58, and Esther Mubeezi, 32, both residents of the same area.
Busoga North Regional Police spokesperson Samson Lubega said the two women were living at the same homestead with the suspect.
"Another family member visited the home on the afternoon of September 7 and found the suspect there but could not establish the whereabouts of the two women, " said Mr Lubega.
