Two visually impaired cyclists take part in inaugural L’Etape by Tour de France in Mysuru
Two visually impaired cyclists and an endurance cyclist with a prosthetic arm participated in the inaugural L’Etape by Tour de France event in Mysuru. The event highlighted inclusive sports participation and personal milestones for athletes with disabilities.

The inaugural India edition of L’Etape by Tour de France held in Mysuru on Sunday saw two visually impaired cyclists participating in the event.
Both cyclists from Yashas Para Sports Academy completed their ride on tandem bicycles, each accompanied by a sighted guide, said a press statement issued by the organisers.
“They participated in the 20 km Family Fun Ride. Their participation was among the many stories that made the inaugural edition memorable,” said an organiser.
