Two trained kumki elephants deployed in Parvathipuram to tackle human-elephant conflict

The Andhra Pradesh government has deployed two trained kumki elephants, Jayanth and Abhimanyu, to the Parvathipuram Manyam district to help manage human-elephant conflicts. These elephants will assist forest officials in guiding wild herds away from human settlements and back into forest areas to protect crops and property.
