Police believe Dr Mutiso was the target of a carefully planned assassination after she was ambushed moments after arriving at the Africa Institute of Mental and Brain Health in Upper Hill on Wednesday morning.
She had requested a taxi from Tanga Heights Apartments on Bamboo Lane off Riara Road to the institute's offices at Mawensi Gardens off Matumbato Road.
