Two students killed in road accident in Tiruvannamalai

Two college students from Chennai died in a road accident after their two-wheeler crashed into a median on the Chittoor–Cuddalore Highway. Police have registered a case and are currently investigating the incident.

Two college students were killed in a road accident when the two-wheeler they were riding hit a median on the Chittoor–Cuddalore Highway at Ethal village in Tiruvannamalai on Sunday.
The deceased were identified as S. Krithik, 20, and M. Priyadarshan, 20. They were both residents of Chennai, and were studying at a private deemed university in the city.
An initial inquiry revealed that they were returning to Chennai after offering worship at the Parvathamalai Temple near Arani when Krithik lost control of the vehicle as he tried to avoid hitting another two-wheeler and ended up crashing into the median. In the impact, he and Priyadarshan were thrown off the vehicle.
