SINGAPORE: Two Traffic Police (TP) officers were taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation after their vehicle caught fire at an expressway exit early on Friday (Aug 21).
The incident happened at about 12.10am on BKE towards Woodlands, at the slip road into SLE, according to the police and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF).
The police said the two TP officers were patrolling when they saw smoke emitting from the vehicle engine compartment and immediately evacuated.
