Two young motorcyclists were killed in a tragic multi-vehicle road accident near Jalahalli village in the Deodurga taluk of Raichur district late Thursday evening.

​The deceased have been identified as Uday Ramanna and Vijay Neelakanth.

​According to police sources, the mishap occurred when the motorcycle, carrying the duo from Jalahalli towards the Tinthini bridge, was struck head-on by an autorickshaw coming from the opposite direction.

The impact caused both riders to fall onto the road, where they were subsequently dashed by a state-owned bus traveling directly behind them in the same direction. ​”Vijay died on the spot, while Uday succumbed to his injuries on his way to the hospital,” police sources stated.
