Two More Games Revealed For Xbox Game Pass In 2026, Including A Surprise Shadow Drop
Xbox Game Pass has added two new titles to its 2026 lineup, including a surprise shadow drop of Valiant Hearts: Coming Home. The second title, Don't Fret, is a zany puzzle game that was recently teased at a horror showcase.
Why it matters
Subscription services like Game Pass are increasingly relying on surprise releases to maintain subscriber engagement and value.
Who doesn't enjoy a surprise addition to their Xbox Game Pass subscription? Well, that's sort of the case with the two games we're highlighting today.
First up is Valiant Hearts: Coming Home from Ubisoft. The 2024 sequel to Valiant Hearts: The Great War just appeared on Xbox Game Pass last week. No acknowledgement from Ubisoft nor Xbox. It's just there and playable for Ultimate subscribers. It's likely the game was popped on as part of Ubisoft+, but whatever the case, it's nice to have a newbie to kick back and play on a rainy day.
