Two men from Chennai killed, six injured as SUV rams into SETC bus near Cuddalore

Two men were killed and six others including a child were injured after a SUV they were travelling in rammed into a State Express Transport Corporation (SETC) bus at Chinna Karaikadu on the Villupuram-Nagapattinam highway on Sunday (August 30, 2026).
The deceased were identified as Vignesh (27) and Parasuraman (50), from Chennai.
Police said seven persons from Chennai were returning from Velankanni when the accident occurred. The driver of the SUV lost control of the vehicle and rammed behind a SETC bus crushing the vehicle with the occupants trapped inside.
