SHAH ALAM, Aug 8 — Police confirmed the arrest of two local men following a report received regarding a podcast episode that allegedly touched on religious sensitivities.
North Klang District Police Chief ACP Ramsay Embol said his department received the report on August 5 before the arrests of a freelance host and a businessman, aged in their 30s and 60s respectively, were carried out yesterday.
“Police have received a report regarding a video clip of a podcast created by two individuals discussing the issues of secular and liberal ideologies.
