The Selvapuram police in Coimbatore on Friday arrested two persons on charge of possessing 2,100 prescription tablets, which were meant to be sold in the black market.

According to the police, they had arrested Sarbudheen (35) for selling prescription tablets some days ago. He revealed to the police that Manikandan (26) from Perur sold him the tablets. Manikandan was under the surveillance of the police after the incident.
