Two vegetable vendors were killed and two others injured when a speeding lorry rammed an autorickshaw in which they were travelling at the Mavala bypass in Adilabad town in the early hours of Thursday. The deceased were identified as Narayana, 60, and Anand, 40, both residents of Palli (B) village in Talamadugu mandal. Two other occupants of the autorickshaw sustained grievous injuries in the head-on-collision .The injured were admitted to the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) in Adilabad. They were on their way to a market carrying vegetables when the accident occurred. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.
