Two persons were killed while 20 others were injured when a bus travelling from Udupi to Bengaluru met with an accident near Nalligere Cross on the Mangaluru-Bengaluru highway on Thursday.
According to reports, the injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Soon after receiving information about the accident, Deputy Commissioner of Mandya Kumar and Superintendent of Mandya district police V.J. Shobharani visited the scene of the accident and also called on the injured at the hospital.
