The Kallidaikurichi police have arrested two persons for allegedly murdering a marriage hall owner due to financial dispute.

Police said marriage hall owner Kannan, 38, of Kallidaikurichi was hacked to death when he was waiting to pick-up his daughter from a tuition centre on Wednesday night.

After collecting the CCTV camera footages from the scene of crime, the Kallidaikurichi police found that two persons – Venkatesh and Surya – from the same area had allegedly orchestrated the crime.

When the police arrested them on Thursday, the suspects told the police that financial dispute between them and Kannan led to the murder.
