Two class VIII students of a Gurukul Patashala in Gyarampalle mandal of Annamayya district were issued transfer certificates (TCs) from the school following allegations that they attempted to harm a classmate while he was asleep in the hostel.

According to officials, the student approached the Mandal Education Department and alleged that the two boys had pressed his neck with their feet during the incident. He reportedly managed to escape and subsequently brought the matter to the notice of the authorities.
