Two girl children suffered serious injuries when firecrackers stocked in a house at Azad Nagar here accidentally exploded on Friday.

Police said Sudalai of Azad Nagar near here had stocked the firecrackers, which are usually used during temple and the church festivals as part of the celebrations.

When these crackers exploded violently on Friday afternoon, his daughters aged 12 and 7 were seriously injured.
